CIMPLE Solutions Professional Ltd. has been repairing and
servicing electronic studio equipment since May of '94. We have
been appointed Akai UK's and EMU systems premier authorized
service centre since we started. We now also represent:
Allen & Heath, AKG, dbx, Digitech, DOD, CME, Fatar, StudioLogic, JBL, Lexicon, Mackie,
M-Audio, Tascam, QSC, Stanton DJ, Cerwin Vega and Sennheiser to name but a few.
From our experience we have found that most people want their
prized possessions repaired in the shortest possible time and
paying the least possible amount. To achieve this goal, we have
developed various strategies to try and make this happen (you can
read these in more detail on our terms and conditions page (Repair
Terms), for now here is a brief outline.
Unlike other service centres we don't have an hourly rate as such.
Our repair charge is based primarily on the value of the goods being
repaired. i.e. A faulty effect unit worth £80 which took 2 hours
to repair and £20 worth of parts to fix; with a service centre
that adheres to say a £35/hour charge, that repair should of cost
you £90.00!!!! Doesn't make sense! Our standard turnaround time
is in general 2-3 weeks, but we do offer a HIT LIST. When you are put
on the hit list (at our discretion) we agree a date to which we can
have the equipment repaired (even next day in some cases) and the best
bit is we don't charge you any extra for this.
As always you don't get anything for nothing! If you don't
pickup the equipment by the agreed date you are then charged
£10 extra per day, until you pick it up. In other words we
busted a gut getting it fixed, the least you could do is pick it
up!! Normally we would also give estimates for repairs costing
over £100+vat, however, Hitlisted items are not estimated
they're just fixed. This system is really for the professional who
needs their gear to make their living, and who are generally hard
to get hold of to give estimates to. Hence we just fix it.
